    Digital Marketing Content Manager


    The Digital Marketing Content Manager is responsible for the strategic development & management of online creative content strategy for This position is responsible for delivering a world class shopping experience through interactive content that elevates the Too Faced brand while driving conversion through strategic story-telling initiatives. The position will manage one direct report. Currently reports to VP of Digital.

    This position will be based from Too Faced Corporate headquarters located in Irvine, CA. 




    • Day-to-day execution of including; product launch experience strategies, core category animations, seasonal storytelling, and promotional activations.
    • Strategic oversight of content development, including: collaborating with creative on digital photo shoots, blog development, asset deliverables, and copy for pristine messaging.
    • Maximize e-commerce performance (i.e., conversion rate, average order value, engagement KPIs), with particular focus on making continuous improvements in: 
    • Search engine optimization 
    • Online customer experience 
    • Site search optimization
    • Product + Get The Look photography 
    • Site content optimization 
    • Innovative experiences that drive category/product growth
    • Ownership of executing all online creative, including homepage, collection, product, and experience pages
    • Partner with the Marketing team to create appropriate and relevant copy for each product, including customer-facing romance copy and product benefits 
    • Work with photography team to ensure on-time deliverables for seasonal assortments, stylized content, and alternate image requirements


    • Work cross-functionally with site ops to develop cohesive merchandising across all categories of to help drive average order value, units per transaction, and total site revenue. This includes partnering on the following:
    • Visual merchandising of products across the entire site to align with world-class story telling
    • Develop + forecast lifts to drive revenue through premium product placement and category elevation
    • Participate in creative and marketing concept meetings to identify and recommend appropriate product(s) to be featured in planned marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and monthly site animations
    • Take proactive role in working with the creative team to help shape the content asset development utilizing data
    • Take active lead in weekly ecommerce business reviews with VP, Digital. Supply analytics, content, and launch updates to ensure all areas are aligned.
    • Work closely with site operations to spearhead site upgrades, experience pages, new functionalities, and site optimizations
    • Use website analytics tools, Google Analytics + DOMO, to conduct regular analysis of content, product, and collection productivity to identify trends and opportunities 
    • Regularly review competitive landscape for features and trends as they relate to best practices for online merchandisers



    • Qualifications

      • Strong experience (5+ years) managing all key business functions described above in an ecommerce environment
      • Demonstrated ability to analyze target customer groups, understand their shopping behavior and desires, and craft strategies that respond to these needs
      • Demonstrated success at growing an ecommerce, direct marketing, or multi-channel retail business through business and technical innovation – ideally with experience in both strategy development and operational execution
      • Strong understanding of SEO, content development, and blog management
      • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
      • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
      • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on quality control and execution efficiency
