    Job Title: Interactive Design Manager

    Location: Corporate HQ, Irvine, CA




    The Interactive Design Manager will play an integral part of bringing the Too Faced brand to life online. This position requires an indepth understanding of the digital design space, with a great eye for user experience design and expertise in project management. A strong sense of urgency is a must.


    This creative person will lead the Interactive Design Team working collaboratively with the Senior Creative Manager, Creative Operations Director and Executive Art Director. This individual must have a highly defined understanding of content driven design with a strong emphasis on branding and product based promotional email/digital marketing.


    This position is based at the Too Faced Corporate Headquarters in Irvine, California. Remote work is not an option.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Support and manage artwork requests from the E-Commerce/Digital Marketing departments, allocating work appropriately across the Interactive Design Team members
    • Work closely with the project management team to map out the execution of all phases of projects: overseeing timelines, meeting deadlines, keeping brand consistency, and seeing projects through from start to completion
    • Concept, create and deliver strong design solutions that articulate seasonal campaigns, product launches and daily digital needs cohesively across all digital touchpoints (as needed) i.e. email campaigns, social assets, website graphics, banners and advertising
    • Maintain and elevate brand aesthetic across all touch-points, reviewing all creative within the digital team to confirm accuracy and consistency ensuring graphics/visual elements support a strong, focused brand vision
    • Analytical Skills – be able evaluate successes/failures and determine next steps and improvements as needed
    • Be on top of all web/digital industry trends—emphasis on beauty a plus—and be able to implement best practices to the work environment
    • Be able to translate user experience and interface design knowledge to the team


    Required Skills


    • A. or B.F.A. in Graphic or Web Design
    • 5-7+ years Interactive Graphic Design experience within an in-house, design or agency setting mandatory. Experience in the beauty/fashion industry preferred
    • 2-5+ years of Management experience
    • Leadership Skills – Proven record of leading a team and developing great talent with the ability to focus colleagues on goals and objectives
    • Strong understanding of designing for maximum lead conversion with an emphasis on user-centered design
    • Clear understanding of HTML cross-browser functionality and limitations
    • Although no coding necessary, it is important to understand how it works and its capabilities when designing
    • Knowledge of user experience and consumer path analysis
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Creative Cloud InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop mandatory
    • After Effects a plus
    • Strong graphic design, layout, typography, and user experience design mandatory
    • Image manipulation/retouch and color correction skills a plus
    • Must be a self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative
    • Strong communication a must, both verbal and written—collaborative and able to contribute and present concepts in group settings, to senior and executive staff members, and the ability to relay all feedback to Interactive Design Team members
    • Exemplary organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
    • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to work multiple projects simultaneously and meet due dates in timely manner
