    Senior Photography Production Artist

     

    Job Summary:

    The Too Faced Senior Production Artist is responsible for supporting the Photography Production Manager and Photo Production team to successfully deliver top-notch photography for the Global Creative Department. This person should be committed to quality, with detailed technical expertise to assure the best output through every stage of a project. They should take complete ownership over the delivery of high-quality work, provide technical and creative solutions, and harbor a passion for color accuracy, file organization, and eliminating defects.

     

    This position is based at the Too Faced Corporate Headquarters in Irvine, California.

    THIS IS HOW YOU WORK IT:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Guide the post-production team: delivery and organization of photography assets to cross functional partners, internal server and DAM system, and provide retouching/color correction expertise
    • Image optimizing, retouching, manipulation, color correction, texture recreation, creating comps/frankensteining
    • Building the brand ­– keeping our brand guidelines in mind at all times to keep consistency but push the limits appropriately
    • Experience with prepping files for pre-press and print vendors, large and small format printing
    • Light and shoot digital photography for styled products on tabletop
    • Capture the functionality, features, benefits and uniqueness of individual products
    • Product digital images that are within established standards, which can quickly be edited
    • Manage and maintain workflow while completing the daily production requirements
    • Maintain photo equipment and cleanliness of studio

    THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF:

    Required Skills

    • 5+ years experience in photography and post production
    • BFA in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field of study
    • Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator (Required), InDesign (is a plus)
    • Capture One
    • Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word
    • Beauty and product retouching experience
    • Experience with Canon photography equipment and Profoto lighting equipment
    • Some lifting may be involved, up to 50 lbs
    • Must be highly organized and have excellent time management skills
    • Strong track record both as an individual contributor and key member of a team 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a dynamic team
    • Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment while being flexible with change
    • Must like animals and have a good sense of humor
