    Digital Merchandising Specialist

    Summary:

     

    As the Digital Merchandising Specialist, you will work closely with the site ops and the digital content team to communicate the unique and exciting Too Faced products online.  The Specialist will make product placement decisions for the Too Faced Digital Team leveraging insights and data gathered from customers and internal cross functional teams. This role will be responsible for the overall digital presentation of on-site products through strategic merchandising, analyzing and optimizing a seamless customer experience to achieve financial objectives.

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Develop a data-driven strategy for the digital product, set measurable goals, define and implement short-term and long-term plans
    • Develop season hindsight and the strategic opportunities used to inform product placement and promotions.
    • Manage daily inventory to ensure stock is stable and on time
    • Assist in managing the digital product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including research, defining requirements, project management, QA, UAT and launch strategy
    • Responsible for driving site operational quality by establishing and maintaining scalable incident management business processes and escalation paths
    • Responsible for executing day-to-day changes on the eCommerce site to reflect tactical and strategic merchandising improvements.
    • Assist in developing product launch activation strategies to align with the Too Faced ecommerce/digital vision, sales goals and company campaigns
    • Maintains organized and comprehensive product library
    • Serve as the department go to person merchandising and performance in a given arear of our product catalog and categories
    • Analyze site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve conversion rate and drive revenue growth across assigned product categories
    • Research trends and competitors to discover new ways to improve customer experience
    • Conduct user research, session tracking and user journey mapping to understand how users are interacting with toofaced.com and develop product placement strategies based on findings
    • Track KPI’s to measure product performance, ROI and placement efficiencies

     

    • Perform site refreshes, manage new product flows, conceptualize and launch experience pages and execute pricing updates
    • Utilize selling and analytics reports to optimize product presentation and shop setup
    • Push seasonal product flow live: accurately assign all products to correct navigation and manage corresponding data- Price, product name, product copy, etc.
    • Responsible for gathering and entering of Metadata (keyword info) into backend platform
    • Monitor feedback from PowerReviews & customer care team (returns, emails, phone calls) to improve site functionality and user experience

    THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF:

    Skills:

    • Bachelor Degree, Degree in Business Marketing preferred
    • 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce environment
    • Working knowledge of retail math
    • Provide information and communicate effectively to present analytics, recommendations, and data interpretation
    • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to manage workflow; create and meet deadlines.
    • Identifies and acts on opportunities to build business and maximize profit.
    • Knowledge of competitors and relevant business models
    • Demandware experience a plus
