Job Description



Position reports to: Digital Marketing Director



Are you ready to paint the internet pink?! As the Digital Site Operations Manager you will own the end to end process for all digital projects and site operations. This role will work closely with the digital and development teams to identify and prioritize site enhancements and new functionalities; in addition to maintaining/optimizing existing features to achieve sales and brand objectives. This role is the primary liaison between the internal team and the development partner, ensuring all projects are properly prioritized and deadlines are met.


This position will be based from our Corporate Headquarters located in Irvine, CA.




Project Management - 40%

  • Manage multiple, simultaneous projects varying in scope for digital initiatives including creation of high level timelines, risks assessments, coordination of internal status meetings and ongoing communication to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met
  • Work with appropriate stakeholders to obtain project goals and definition to create overarching project scope
  • Manage and prioritize digital projects with development team, keeping in line with key initiatives and business goals
  • Facilitate communication with appropriate development resources to ensure project objectives are met for flawless, on-time delivery
  • Manage the end to end QA and UAT process across all environments for new site enhancements, promotions and product launches

New Enhancements and Functionalities Oversight – 25%

  • Create and communicate creative and technical requirements to appropriate resources
  • Continually investigate and helps implement new features, enhancements and functionalities working collaboratively with digital and development teams as well as brand requested initiatives


Site Maintenance - 20%

  • Track and report site bugs and resolutions with appropriate teams and resources
  • Oversee all backend data for site diagnostic tools
  • Provide assistance as needed for site and product related customer service inquiries


Digital Marketing Execution Support - 15%

  • Collaborate with site experience and digital marketing teams for setup of all ongoing and new site offers and promotions
  • Continual optimization of keyword data for onsite search tool based on site analytics and product updates
  • Provide as needed support for updates and upgrades to onsite social media, user generated, and marketing campaign tools




  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or related field a plus
  • 4 - 5  years digital production, project management or web development experience
  • Minimum 3 years high volume, high velocity ecommerce site experience
  • Working knowledge and experience of website technologies, product catalog or inventory tools, and ecommerce platforms and processes.
  • Demandware experience highly desired
  • Extremely detail oriented and quality assurance focused
  • Must be a team player
  • Strong ability to independently prioritize and manage day-to-day requests and needs
  • Must be able to successfully track and manage multiple projects within given deadlines with experience utilizing online project and issue management tools providing timely and consistent updates to necessary stakeholders
  • Strong ability to effectively and professionally communicate across various levels of the organization (written and verbal) including ecommerce counterparts, leadership, etc
  • Motivated to proactively, creatively and independently problem solve and prevent issues to maintain site standards and brand alignment
  • Ability to successfully adapt to change based on business and market needs
  • Convey a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards tackling and resolving issues
  • Familiarity with ecommerce industry trends and best practices
  • Interest or knowledge of beauty industry a plus
