General Manager – UK, EU, ME

Job Description

Summary: 

The General Manager – UK, EU, ME is responsible for the success of Too Faced Cosmetics as measured by the achievement of local sales and profitability goals as set by the Managing Director.

The General Manager – UK, EU, ME runs a profit center with an entrepreneurial mind-set and hands-on management on all aspects of the business including strategy, culture and team building, sales, public relations and marketing within designated territory.

Our ideal candidate will be based in the UK.                       

THIS IS HOW YOU WORK IT:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, lead, manage, coach, develop and retain the best sales performers to form a high caliber field force focused on driving retail in partnership with Commercial Manager.
  • Develop strong and durable relationship with all retail partners inclusive of Top Management (GM, Retail and Operations Director, VP Regional) together with ELC Affiliates within designated territory.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including cost share, counter space and location and new door openings.
  • Manage day to day operations within designated territory ensuring the ’24 hour response time’ rule is adhered to.
  • Lead sell-in NPD by season to designated territory
  • Track spend and return on investment within budget parameters as set on the Trade Marketing Plan approved by the Managing Director and in accordance with actual sales trend to protect bottom line. Focus headcount and other investments on sell-out.
  • Protect the Too Faced brand equity by ensuring that global visual guidelines are adhered to at all times. Partner with US headquarters in promoting a consistent customer experience worldwide.
  • Define a pricing structure with the Managing Director for all NPD and ensure that our benchmark-pricing document is kept up to date centrally.
  • Forecast monthly net sales, basic replenishment needs, new products placement in conjunction with the Managing Director.
  • Partner with US headquarters for all back office functions.
  • Strive to build and promote positive values in a motivational working environment for all field-based Too Faced employees within designated territory.
  • In partnership with Managing Director, lead annual Strategy Meetings in designated markets.
  • All other duties as assigned.
