We are growing and adding a Corporate Sales Director to our team! The Corporate Sales Director will develop and pursue opportunities via advertising, corporate events, marketing, merchandising, inventory & sales analysis to ultimately increase brand awareness and help to build the brand in key accounts.

The Director must have outstanding relationships with their merchant team, excellent problem solving skills and accountability for the responsibilities listed below. This position requires a clear understanding of budgeting, building strategy and overall account management functions.

The Corporate Sales Director position is based in the Corporate HQ office located in Irvine, CA. and requires ability to travel.

THIS IS HOW YOU WORK IT:

Inventory and Sales Analysis

  • In conjunction with management team build account P&Ls; review progress and assess performance
  • Plan and execute corporate retail sell-through plans in partnership with merchants to align with company objectives
  • Build corporate revenue targets that support sell-through plans
  • Develop seasonal forecast for new and existing products and monitor performance monthly with merchant and internal inventory team

Merchandising

  • Responsible for reviewing product assortment & sales to maximize gondola productivity in partnership with trade marketing
  • Work with visual merchandising to ensure all updates are executed in a timely manner and communicated to merchant team for retailer approval

Events & Marketing  

  • Meet with merchant team and visual manager to review seasonal in-store animation opportunities and ensure maximum exposure
  • Partner with merchant team on potential corporate & in-store marketing opportunities
  • Develop custom-fit sampling program to align with overall company objectives 

Dotcom

  • Develop dotcom business by implementing online sampling programs and current assets to update our site
  • Pursue opportunities to ensure maximum home page exposure and email blasts

Communication

  • Provide weekly account business recaps and monthly reporting that details sell-thru by SKU, ranking, productivity, stock & sales and competitive analysis
  • Initiate weekly conference calls with merchant team and monthly meetings to review all business opportunities and issues
  • Join weekly conference calls with field to review all updates (i.e. Gondola, Visual, Inventory) and business opportunities & any open issues
  • Initiate weekly calls with internal cross functional teams to discuss business opportunities and challenges

THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF:

  • 7-10+ years relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Sephora experience required
  • Proven, successful sales track record in cosmetic industry
  • Self-motivated and flexible; able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships and work cross functionally with sales, marketing, trade marketing, retail partners, demand planning and supply chain.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must be proficient at Excel and Power Point
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Must work from Irvine corporate office and travel domestically when needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
