We are Painting the World Pink and would LOVE your help!  We are growing and looking for a Production Designer to join our spectular creative team.  This position is responsible for providing technical and creative solutions and executing them, in strong partnership with designers. This detail oriented person will work collaboratively with the Art Director and cross-functional Marketing partners to successfully deliver in store collateral and marketing materials. This person should be committed to quality, with detailed technical expertise to assure best outputs through every stage of a project. Complete ownership over the delivery of high-quality work, with a passion for grids, kerning, cropping and eliminating defects.

 

This position is based at the Too Faced Corporate Headquarters in Irvine, California.

THIS IS HOW YOU WORK IT:

  • Building and designing layouts, mechanicals, templates, and brand extensions while working within existing guidelines
  • Large and small format printing. Ability to review color proofs and understand basic mark-ups
  • Continually refine production workflow to raise the bar, increase efficiency and ensure precision and timely delivery of assets and mechanicals.
  • Image optimizing, light retouching, manipulation, color correction
  • Provide expertise and perform pre-production responsibilities including sizing, scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning, optimizing and packaging final files and preparing for production and archival 
  • Assistance with presentations for cross-functional teams and Market week

  • BFA in Graphic Design
  • 3+ years’ experience in production and graphic design 
  • Expert knowledge in key Adobe Creative Cloud software such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • PowerPoint, Keynote and Excel knowledge a plus
  • Beauty/fashion experience a plus
  • Team oriented. The team player must be able to seamlessly partner with both designers and project managers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to do focused, high-quality work under deadline pressure
  • Extremely detail-oriented and well organized to ensure naming conventions are upheld and archives are maintained
  • Self-motivated, sharp, asks smart questions, a quick learner, able to collaborate with designers
