We are growing our team in Asia Pacific and have an immediate opening for a Commercial Manager to join the team. Our ideal candidate will partner closely with retailers (including Travel Retailers) and distributors for retail sales planning and execution to drive business growth and maximize sales in the region. In addition, they will follow global business strategy to provide guidance to retailers and distributors in the region.


This position will be based out of Singapore and will require travel in the Asia Pacific market.


• Develop annual sales, marketing, and promotional plans with outlined objectives, strategies and tactics for the region and individual market to ensure growth goals are met in conjunction with the VP, Sales & Business Development - APAC & LATAM
• Manage Jr. Account Executives in SEA for all in-store activity execution to achieve sales targets
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales and productivity per door per BA and provide strategies and recommendations to business partners
• Build relationships with key accounts and deliver excellent proactive account support and client care in the field by identifying, maintaining and maximizing sales, marketing and promotion opportunities
• Ensure the SRP in each market are in line with global pricing strategy and guidelines
• Develop promotional programs with business partners for newness, product re-promote/ slow moving items in conjunction with the VP, Sales & Business Development - APAC & LATAM
• Ensure best-in-class execution of each newness launch


Forecast & order
• Oversee the rolling forecast from business partners, ensure business partners provide 3-months rolling forecast on time for top SKUs and forecast annual retail sales by door in conjuntion with the VP, Sales & Business Development - APAC & LATAM

• Develop the plans to bridge the sales gap and lead sales team and business partners to deliver positive sales results in conjunction with the VP, Sales & Business Development - APAC & LATAM
• Monitor distributors’ and retail doors’ stock level and provide recommendations to business partners for purchase orders


Marketing & Trade Marketing
• Monitor competitive activities and provide input to Int’l marketing team and distributors for marketing activities planning
• Facilitate the launch of global marketing plans with local adaptations in conjunction with the Sr. Manager, Operations - International
• Liaise with marketing team in HQ and business partners to implement and ensure the effectiveness of CRM and sampling programs
• Liaise with Visual Merchandising team and business partners to ensure best-in-class in-store visibility in all retail doors

• Manage day to day operations within the designated territory ensuring the '24-hour response time' rule


- 8+ years experience in the Beauty/Cosmetics industry

- Outstanding leadership qualities and proven ability to develop, inspire, lead team to achieve sales performance

- Minimum 3+ years expereince managing a team
- Proficient at sales analysis and strategic planning based on analysis
- Proven multi-market management experience

- Strong businesss and financial acumen
- Understanding of and experience working with Sephora
- Ability to analyze and manage a budget
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- In-depth market knowledge (distribution, customers, competition, etc.)
- Strong aptitude for product knowledge, brand messaging, artistry and business management
- Strong skills in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, committed, tenacious and goal-oriented
- Energetic and passionate with an entrepreneurial, flexible spirit
- Positive, professional and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
- Ability to travel is required; approximately 50%
